Availability of items is limited to stock in inventory, so they may be temporarily unavailable until stock is replenished. If an item is temporarily out of stock, you will be notified of the approximate date of shipment and given the opportunity to cancel the order. Occasionally, items will be available for a limited time only. These items will be identified as such in their product descriptions. Once our inventory is sold out, they will no longer be available.
All items can be ordered by adding the item to the shopping cart. At any time you can review your shopping cart by clicking the "View Cart" button. When you have reviewed your final order you can purchase the items in your cart by clicking "Proceed to Checkout."
Scarlet Thread accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Scarlet Thread may be able to order items that are not stocked as part of the shop's inventory. In order to determine whether an item can be ordered, please email Scarlet Thread. All special orders require full payment in advance. No returns are accepted nor refunds granted on special orders, since the items are not carried as part of our inventory.
Items in stock are usually shipped within 48 hours. Out-of-stock or special-order items are generally shipped within 2 weeks.
Most orders are shipped via US mail.
International shipping: For purchases up to $50, a separate invoice will be sent for shipping costs in excess of the rates charged for domestic shipping. For purchases of $50 and more, a separate invoice will be sent for the difference in cost between domestic and international shipping for the destination country.
Scarlet Thread does not accept returns of books, charts, graphs, kits, fabric, threads, tools, accessories, or any other products.
Scarlet Thread will accept returns for items that are damaged in shipping and in instances where the wrong item was shipped. Please contact Scarlet Thread, and we will select the most appropriate method for returning items. Once the item(s) is received, we will refund your original credit card payment and credit the cost of the return shipping.
When returning anything to Scarlet Thread, we suggest using a shipping method that can be tracked, such as FedEx or UPS, and retaining your tracking number. We cannot be responsible for goods that do not arrive at our warehouse. Please include your contact information with your return.
Scarlet Thread collects information in order to process and ship your order and to communicate via email. Scarlet Thread does not sell or distribute any of this information.
